The school is located in Uxbridge, Middlesex at Brunel University main campus. This is a school that places in high regard the importance of training to excellence and upholding the precepts of Budo (Martial Ways). Our focus is based on the basics of our art, as the basics are the roots and the foundation of our structure. We are firm believers in commitment, perseverance, and humility, which are all attributes of a true martial artist. We have a good ratio of teachers to students and encourage our students to always ask questions, fostering an enquiring mind. All instructors are fully qualified to teach all levels including children and each hold a current police CRB check and FAW. We are open to all, regardless of age, ability or gender. The club has been operating for 7 years and is continually under supervision from senior masters in our federation. The main art that is taught is Okinawa Goju-Ryu which is a system derived from kung fu forms and contains kata that are full of Ju-Jutsu waza (technique). We believe in being a well rounded martial artist therefore other systems such as Yamanaka-Ha Shindo Ryu Ju-Jitsu and Kobudo are also taught independently at basic level (all have a pure traceable lineage). We have a very friendly and family orientated environment with regular trips abroad together and frequent social events.
