Range Combat Academy ( RCA ) is a new martial arts academy based in Derby. We are the only school in the area to teach Jeet Kune Do concepts, based on Bruce Lee's ideas. Included in jkd concepts is long, mid, and close range combat along with ground defence and weapons.We also teach Global kickboxing, which is a blend of several kickboxing systems seen around the world. This includes techniques seen from Muay Thai, French Savate, western kickboxing and Chinese boxing to name a few. Finally there is Fulkrum Ryu Jujutsu. FRJ promotes the use of leverage and technique over size and strength. A fully well rounded self defence system, this martial art is a combination of Japanese jujutsu, Brazilian gi and non gi grappling, with aspects of military combat.
