The Kobukan Aikido Association was founded in 1992 by the late Sensei George Oughton, and Sensei Warren Butcher.
Sensei Oughton started his Aikido Career in the 1950's under Kenshiro Abbe Sensei, and had travelled extensively throughout Europe, the Middle East and Russia, teaching and studying under various Masters before his death in June 2002.
