DAI YAMA JUJITSU is a friendly run dojo. We have exceptional links and support from genuine high-grade instructors. We discourage bad politics and backbiting. A student should be a student and not be drawn into committees, politics, and their instructors ventures. A students loyalty should come from their heart, not from an instructor who dangles a carrot. DAI YAMA has no time for self-important people, who dismiss common courtesy. Regular SeminarsAll members have the opportunity to attend regular seminars, organized in England and abroad. No seminar has compulsory attendance; all seminars are run to increase the students knowledge and skill of the art they practice. DiscriminationDAI YAMA does not discriminate against any race; religion, colour, disability or sexuality; all are free to train without prejudice. GradingKyu grades (White belt upto Brown belt 2 stripes) are taken every 5-6-8 months depending upon the individual. Every Student is encouraged to learn at their own pace. Yudansha grades (Black belt, Upper Dan grade levels), are taken under strict supervision by a panel of high-grade examiners. br> Our dedication to what we believe Please note that DAI YAMA is a non-profit making club. Dedicated to martial arts and students. GENUINE SUPPORT is given in many ways i.e. Training fees, GI purchase and membership fees. We understand circumstances that arise in everyday life; NO student has to pay for training that they have NOT had. We maintain the policy, you pay for training when you train, NEVER monthly, NEVER in advance or NEVER signing CONTRACTS! (So, you LOOSE NOTHING).
