Kernow Karate of Essex is a freestyle karate club with venues in the Chelmsford, Doddinghurst and Margaretting areas. Our style of karate is geared towards fitness and self defence rather than for sporting purposes. The club instructor is Paul Newman who is licensed and insured with the Amateur Martial Association (AMA) and the English Karate Governing Body (EKGB), the only karate association presently recognised by Sport England.
