I follow the traditional doctrine of teaching privately or in small groups of 2-4 people.
I do run a Saturday general training dojo incorporating all of the disciplines from 9am - 3pm.
Other than this I run separate tuition for individual students all day and evenings plus all day Sunday. Each session can be for 1-2 hrs, although I will occassionally allow someone 3 hour sessions if they are committed.

I have been training in martial arts since the age of 12 and been teaching for 12 years. I have also trainined in Okinawa (Japan) and while I am more than willing to teach any dedicated student I have found my way of teaching intensive and hard work. I believe in a traditional approach to martial arts in that members need to be committed in order to progress and be willing to utilise their own free time to practice the kata specifically, which is a major stumblig block for most students.
The systems incorporate the standard kickking (Kette), punching (Tsuki), striking (Uchi),combinations (Renshu), self- defence (Atemiwaza), patterns (Kata) and set-sparring (Kumitegata) and free-sparring (Kumite). Etiquette (Reishiki) is essential and to me, personally, martial arts should be al journey of learning and the path itself is far more important than the end objective.
