Hung Leng Kuen Kung Fu is an application based art where lineage can be fully traced. The Portsmouth class format will be a short yet vigorous warm up, then the class will be split in two halves where kung fu techniques such as punching, kicking, aerial kicking, rolls, breakfalls, locks, levers, self defence applications, knife defences, bottle defences, multiple attackers etc will be covered. In the second half teaching will be directly from the World Free Spirit Fist Federation (WFSFF) syllabus upon which you will be graded roughly every 3 months as a minimum amount of time between gradings. This covers everything just mentioned including various forms, weapons forms, sets and light, semi and progressive sparring . We believe just good enough, isnt good enough. No class will be the same so please dont judge one class as representative of our style.
