Tim first started training in Wing chun in 1984 under the guidance of Brian desir at that time that was with the Austin goh system for approx 1/2 years. I then had a break from Wing Chun. I then studied karate for a couple of years under the JKA Association. Then i came into contact with my new instructor and friend Steve O'Neil who trained under Clive potter (WSL) for approx 16 years gaining his instructors certificate. In 2002 under Steve's guidance i have progress further and got a deeper understanding in my wing chun, reaching assistant instructor in 2008. I feel now its right to take my next chapter in my wing chun and start up my own club with the guidance from my instructor. Over the years i have attend numerous seminars seeing the likes of (Alan Gibson,David Peterson,Nino Bernardo) which has helped my wing chun develop even more. We train in the (WSL) Wong Shun Leung system a very direct and effective system based on concepts not set sequences of movement. We are affiliated to Harpenden Wing Chun Branch.
