We run classes for students of all ages, from beginners to expert; through a structured programme. Students will improve their fitness, flexibility and most important of all their self-confidence. We follow the ITF Korean style for patterns, techniques and free sparring and welcome new and experienced practitioners to join us. Self defence is an important part of our curriculum and students will develop skills that can be used effectively if confronted with unexpected aggression.
Tae Kwon Do, like any other sport, can be practised in complete safety if simple precautions are followed. We emphasise safety from the first lesson onwards, through careful stretching, controlled techniques and a positive mental attitude. Seminars are run periodically which concentrate on particular training aspects allowing students to benefit from expert tuition from external instructors.
We have produced over 300 fully qualified black belts and are recommened by the Leisure Services.
