Iwanami Dojo was founded in 1995 for the practice of Kendo and Iaido. The Dojo was originally based in West Wales. It was relocated to York in 2005. The training for each discipline takes place on alternative weeks.
New members are always welcome! We try our best to facilitate a friendly and open environment where people can train hard and make new friends. After each training session we have a drink in the nearby pub where newcomers and club members can relax, recover and have a chat.
