7:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday. Some training sessions Thursday, by prior arrangement. Beginners nights are Monday and Wednesday.

Swinton Shotokan Karate Club is a small and friendly club which has been established for many years. We are a member of the Federation of Shotokan Karate, affiliated to the EKGB. - The instructior is 5th Dan Sensei Graham Smith, who has been training in Shotokan Karate for over 30 years. At present, the club 'boasts' a current world karate kata champion and we have had many sucesses with students competing at national and international level. However, students are not forced into entering competitions and those who do not wish to are as necessary part of our club as those who do compete.

Emphasis within Swinton Shotokan Karate Club is upon safety and basic training, as students cannot progress to higher grades without a sound knowledge of basic techniques and their application.

There is a good mix of Dan and Kyu grades within our club and beginners are always welcome!
