A friendly, traditional Shotokan Karate club utilising the best scientifically tested techniques that are effective, non damaging and natural for your body. We have a popular 'return to training programme' designed to help anyone who has trained in the past return to the Dojo in a relaxed, progressive and gentle environment to help you get your fitness and flexibility back along with re-learning fine detail for maximum efficiency. This class is also suitable for the complete beginner or complimentary to other styles of martial art if you wish to combine learning between styles. Classes taught in both English and Japanese terminology by fully qualified and insured Instructors with a minimum grade of 2nd Dan to ensure quality of tuition. Our Technical Director is 6th Dan with 40 years continuous training in Shotokan. All Instructors are also CRB checked and registered with the National Governing Body. Training in this class costs 1 per session for a complete beginner to Shotokan Karate or 2 for anyone who has trained Shotokan before. If you work shifts and don't have time to commit to regular training, don't worry as this class will be beneficial to you when you can get.

We also have a seperate Brown and Black Belt class only for anyone who is experienced and would like more intensive and in-depth training.
