We are a small but very dedicated club that teaches traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu with a realistic and progressive approach.


We recognise and are proud of our lineage, based on the Ip Man System. We represent and are under the guidance of Master Samuel Kwok, who is a world leading exponent of wing chun and student of both of Ip Man Sons, Ip Ching and Ip Chun.

At Warrior Wing Chun you will learn the traditional art of Wing Chun Kung Fu, and the skills to adapt the art so that it will work in the current Urban arena and for you personally. As society and the dangers on the street evolve, so too must the art of self defence.

We offer a realistic approach to Wing Chun, in a safe and friendly environment; free of politics and ego, where All are treated equally and with respect.

Wing Chun is a form of Kung Fu and a fighting system characterised by short-range, explosive techniques. It uses simultaneous defense and attack principles, and favours efficiency of movement and sensitivity to the moves of the opponent over strength. It is a simple system, containing a few forms (katas) allowing the student to pick up the necessary techniques for self-defence in the minimum amount of time. Extensive training with a partner is used to build reflexes, speed of movement and to train in a realistic manner. Wing Chun is one of the most widely practiced forms of Kung Fu outside of China with some 4 million practitioners worldwide.
