Kuk Sool Won
is the systematic study of all traditional martial arts and seeks to
integrate and explore all aspects of the traditional Korean martial
arts. As a martial arts system it can help to improve fitness,
confidence and concentration, relieve stress, and teach self-defence,
all of which are so important today.

Chief Instructor, James Barker,
is a 4th Degree Black Belt with 19 years of experience in the art and
is also a fully qualified Secondary School Physical Education Teacher.
SBN James opened the first Kuk Sool Won school in Surrey in Oxshott in
the summer of 2007 and now also leads classes in Great Bookham and
Claygate, which is an official secondary location of the Oxshott school.


To accomplish this we offer professional and dynamic martial arts
classes which empower all our students to set goals of self improvement
towards excellence. Maximum progression is achieved through the
realistic and manageable steps of our extensive syllabus. We lead by
example and support all our students in adopting the determined
philosophy necessary to achieve success in life, hoping that our ethics
will reach wider communities as a result.
