Southern Crane Kungfu is rooted in the original Tiger Crane style taught in Singapore by Master Ang Lian Hut (1924 1984). Master Ang taught the Tiger Crane that he began learning as a child from the Tee family on Quemoy, an island just off the coast of Fukien province. The Tee family were the holders of the secret of the famous Tiger Crane combination created by their ancestors, Tee Eng Choon, a master of White Crane, and Hung Ee Kan, a master of Tiger style.
Today
Southern Crane Kungfu is a branch of kungfu that Master Ang Lian Huat taught in Singapore. To this date we have many friends in Tiger Crane Combination, White Crane and Tiger Boxing throughout the UK, China and Singapore. As we keep strictly to the principles of Tiger Crane kungfu, we are able to keep Southern Crane Kungfu traditional, maintaining the standards that were originally developed hundreds of years ago in ancient China.
