The KDS is an organisation committed to practicing and teaching Karate-do as taught by Master Mitsusuke Harada and the style is open to anyone with a genuine interest in learning karate.
Cardiff KDS has been around for over 30 years at a number of locations in the city. The club has members across a wide age range (17 to 50+) and from all levelsfrom beginners to 5th Dan. We pride ourselves on being a friendly welcoming club always willing to help each member get the best out of their training no matter what their age or level of physical fitness.
We've been training at the Heath Hospital Sports and Social club fora number of years now and this has proven an excellent location. Good sports halls, new shower facilities and a subsidized bar!
Cardiff are also fortunate to be one of 3 clubs within the South Wales area, with clubs in Penarth and Newport, who are members are welcome to train with and with whomwe have joint training sessions with on a regular basis.
