The Gwent Junior Karate Club was founded in 1986. Our aim is to aid in the positive development of children through the teaching of traditional, non - competition based karate.
Although we teach a traditional form of karate, we do so in a modern and progressive way to make it both fun and tailored to the specific needs of children. The benefits that can be gained by club members include: building self-confidence, self-discipline, physical fitness and an increased ability to defend themselves in an increasingly violent world.
