CLUB TRAINING TIMES AND VENUE Wednesday Murieston Village Hall All students 7.30 8.30pm Cost of training 3 for juniors and 3.50 for seniors. Thursday New Year Field Farm Community Centre All students 7.00 8.00pm Cost of training 3 for juniors and 3.50 for seniors. All our classes are taken by fully qualified instructors or assistant instructors as set by CMAA Policies.
Norman C Milne 4th Dan Chief Instructor & Grading Examiner
Normans 1st Dan was graded and awarded in 1988 by Master H. Shirai 8th Dan through the Scottish Shotokan Centres Association (SSC). His 2nd Dan was graded by Master T. Kase 9th Dan and Master H. Shirai 8th Dan in 1991 through the World Karate Shotokan Academy (WKSA). Sensei R. Watt 7th Dan graded Norman for his 3rd Dan in 1998 through the National Karate Federation Scotland (NKF). He also received a diploma as a 3rd Dan through the World Karate Confederation (WKC) and a diploma from Oxford Cambridge and RSA Examinations (OCR). Norman was also graded and awarded his 4th Dan by Sensei R. Watt 8th Dan OBE in January 2011 through the (NKF).
Our association has a Kyu (coloured belt) and black belt grading syllabus that is carried out by Sensei Norman Milne 4th Dan. Senseis Barbara Whyte 2nd Dan and Frank McManus 1st Dan assist on our Grading Panel. The association can at present examine you to the grade of Black Belt 4th Dan. We can also ratify a grade that has been taken from another federation, association or karate club.
