Gaku Shi Juku Kendo Kai is the oldest kendo dojo in the east midlands. The Gaku Shi Juku Kendo Club was established in 1976 and has a long history within Leicester. Today, the club practices out of Leicester and Loughborough and has open doors to anyone of any sex, race, religion and creed to practice and learn the martial art of Kendo. One of the beauties of Kendo is that anybody can learn and experience it, whether you are 8 years old, or 88 years old, boy or girl, man or woman.
